BTPA - The stories behind the photographs

As Jimmy Nelson's assistant, photographer Hannelore Vandenbussche accompanied him for three years to the extreme ends of the world to capture the last remaining indigenous cultures on camera for the project 'Before They Pass Away'. Written in Vandenbussche's intimate and sweeping style, this book shares the stories behind the photographs by Jimmy Nelson unveiled in 'Before They Pass Away'. Sharing the tales of friendship, fascination, joy and despair, it becomes clear that the unique expedition changed the lives of Vandenbussche and her travel companions forever.
